:  a long slender artery that arises from the brachial artery or one of its branches just below the middle of the upper arm, descends to the elbow following the course of the ulnar nerve, and terminates under the flexor carpi ulnaris by anastomosing with two other arteries—compare inferior ulnar collateral artery
